The fins on the side aid accuracy as well as preventing the feeders from rolling when there is a tow on the water or if fishing on a ledge. There are hole impressions so that the angler can easily pop the holes out or keep the feeder without holes which makes it easier to feed more particles through it. These feeders are perfect for fishing extreme distances very accurately with braid or mono even in the strongest winds. The smaller versions make perfect pellet feeders when fishing tight to islands and the XL 20g version is the perfect ‘spodding' feeder when you need to get some bait out at a distance
