Crimping Pliers:
Good connections are essential for all rigs; it doesn’t matter if you use steel, kevlar, mono or fluorocarbon - the fish is gone if your rig breaks. For this reason predator experts always crimp their rigs and with the correct sized sleeve crimped by the right pliers you get a safe connection that guarantees almost 100% of the linear breaking strain of the rig material. Due to the shape of the pliers as well as the five pressure points the sleeve is not stressed and is squeezed only in the middle leaving the two ends protruding with no sharp edges. Hot Tip! Put your rig material twice through the sleeve to get the best breaking strain. These Crimping Pliers have been used for all hand-made Fox RAGE rigs.
Hammer Head Pliers:
With these pliers you can cut everything! Thanks to the special power transmission, the massive head and the extra-hardened cutting edges these pliers cut superbly. The ‘Hammer Head XL’ pliers handle the toughest and largest treble hooks and heavy wire without problem. If you need to cut finer materials such as hard mono or fine steel then the small ‘Hammer Head’ pliers are the ones to use.Available in two sizes.
Unhooking Pliers:
A fish needs to be unhooked as carefully and as quickly as possible and this is easy when using the right unhooking pliers so we offer two versions of Unhooking Pliers in our range. One version has a long handle and is ideal for deeply set hooks and the other version has a short handle for ‘standard’ unhooking. Both versions have a special ‘Power Claw’ profile to unhook fine wire hooks as well as big trebles. Two pliers to rely on!
Split Ring Pliers:
When you have to change a treble hook on your bait this is the tool you must have! These are the original split ring pliers from the leading hard lure producers. Thousands and thousands of split rings are removed from hard lures and treble hook eyes with these quickly, safely and without damaging the rings.Available in two versions.
Gloves:
The Fox RAGE gloves give a totally secure hold so fish are released when you want, not when they want! The gloves are ideal when fishing for catfish or bass but also for landing pike and zander with a grip behind the gill cover and they are also very popular as casting gloves. Available in three sizes in ‘black’ colour.
Boat Lure Holder:
Once your baits are out of their boxes and you are using them in the boat, it is useful to be able to arrange them safely and neatly. The Lure Holder from Fox RAGE is a great help and the 24 drop-shaped hooks always ensure baits hang properly and tangle-free. In addition there are two large spaces to hold your Unhooking or Crimping Pliers and at the bottom of the Lure Holder there are more possibilities to mount additional tools by a cord. The Lure Holder is supplied with three suckers so it can be easily fitted and removed but if required it can also be permanently fixed to a boat hull with screws or rivets.
