Daiwa - Tournament X 14ft 2in Surf

Two out-and-out casting tools capable of distances in excess of 270-yards and one 'match special' share in the pedigree of the original AWT rods.

Designed primarily for the tournament field, the 14'2" 142M and 13'4" 134M have attracted the attention of the serious caster.

Both models feature powerful butt designs with a top section that, when fully compressed, load throughout their lengths. The combined effect is an action that has a fast but even recovery; in contrast to the fast tip speed of more conventional actions.

The 14' 2" model is a highly specialised rod that will appeals to the best on the circuit, especially 'back casters', and has achieved special things in the right hands. The 13' 4" model, unique in it's own way, accommodating more of the mainstream casters but is also a deadly weapon in the field.

At 13', with a contrasting action, the 130M offers a stiff powerful butt with a rapid, compound taper tip, similair to the famous AWT13M. A fishing rod first this model still has the potential to hit big distances across grass.

Made from super high-grade graphite reinforced with SiC Whisker, each rod is fitted with BNHG Fuji hard guides and stainless steel coasters.
