Two combo models employ an ultra rigid 1’ extension, allowing you to adjust the rod length of the 12’13’ in the middle of a match without dismantling your set up. The 10’/11’ makes for an excellent close range feeder rod for up the ‘rat holes’ on islands and converts down to an intimate 10’ bomb rod. The more likely popular 12’/13’ is classed as ‘medium power’ and will handle all mainstream feeder work up to 8lbs direct.
When distance and another level of power is required the awesome 13’5” comes into it’s own, capable of 10lbs main lines and putting feeders accurately at distance.
