The Bio Craft XT lines feature the revolutionary 'Aero Taper', a unique design exclusive to the XT range that can greatly improve casting performance. This incredible new taper has a diamond like aerodynamic profile that significantly increases accuracy, control, presentation and distance, whatever the casting technique.
What makes Biocraft XT so Special?

The 'Aero Taper' best describes what is a modification of the modern weight forward fly-line, with an extension of both front and rear tapers to help smooth out the casting performance of almost every fly angler. The long front taper improves turnover and presentation, with the line mass at the bottom of the casting loop always being greater than that at the top of the loop. This balance means that the line will almost cast itself and turns over easily in almost any condition. Such is the casting performance of the line that the length of the XT series was increased to 32m from the standard 27m!
At the other end of the 'head' we have an extra long rear taper - this acts like the flight of an arrow and helps out the cast making aerialising the exact length of head section less critical.
