DAIWA - Daiwa Blue Hydrolastic

The elastic that everybody is raving about. Originally invented by Simon Gould, it is now marketed by Daiwa backed by Will Raison. The elastic is hollow with a liquid centre and incredibly hard wearing, so no need to change elastics every few weeks.

Posessed of mystical properties, it's soft enough to not bounce skimmers, yet becomes more powerful when bigger fish such as carp are hooked. A brilliant elastic for use in open water, especially on mixed fisheries where you never know what you might hook next. Not recommended for carp pools where you're fishing inches away from a snag, it's too stretchy for those situations.

Incredibly expensive, but it lasts much longer than normal elastic....give it a try !!
