Our innovative blank design and taper brings the fulcrum point closer to the angler. This makes it easier to get the rod moving faster, sooner into the cast; meaning more effort goes into getting propelling the lead and bait and not into trying to speed up the rod.

Two 12' and two 13' models cater for the multiplier and fixed spool user over smooth to medium ground. With serious backbone to reach big distances: the use of multi modulus carbons encased in 24-strand carbon braid provides exceptional strength and power.

For rougher terrain and swift tidal areas the 120PM and 130PM power versions deliver just what is needed. Their progressive power action aids 'hit and wind' but more importantly the stiffer tip action maintains bite detection when other softer tips are bent round in the tide. And if the wind is onshore whipping up big breakers the rods action still has enough give to prevent grip leads from being hauled out of position by a bouncing top.

When medium distance and a scaled down approach is needed, step in the 11' 6" bass rod. Ideal for both reel styles, with the inherent features of it's bigger brothers, the STXS115 is at home with flatties and lighter end tackle but more than man enough for big bass and pollack.
