Betaine is a natural attractor and can be found in certain plants, yeasts, and fungi, as well as various aquatic life forms such as fish, crustaceans and molluscs. We use it in many of the baits we produce, as well as blending it into one or two liquid compounds. Use at 3grms/pound in base mix recipes or one level tsp to 100ml liquid if using it to boost liquid foods and bait soaks.
