A baitcasting gem the low profile Cygnus 100 now comes with the option of left or right hand wind.

Its design combines a mixture of features that will make casting, retrieving and fish playing a complete pleasure. Featuring Super Speed Shaft the spool disengages from the drive gear, allowing greater freedom of rotation during the cast. But you stay in control of the line travel thanks to Magforce, Daiwa’s own magnetic braking system.

On the winding front the Cygnus sports a swift 5.1:1, assisted by three ball bearings, Infinite Anti Reverse and a ceramic lined level wind. The brass drive and pinion gears ensure solid reliability and the machined aluminium spool combines strength with lightness.
